We are delighted to take part in the concert in the RDS on Sunday February 2nd, 2025.

Carols in the Radission

Oatlands Choir had the pleasure of performing for some very special guests at the Radisson Hotel in Stillorgan on Thursday 28th of November. The children were prepared by Ms Healy and supported on the night by Ms Hillary and Ms Ní Mhurchú. It was a wonderful, festive evening which was enjoyed by all.

Infants Christmas Play!

On Tuesday the 10th of December and Wednesday the 11th of December the Junior and Senior Infant classes put on an amazing performance of "Christmas with the Aliens". It told a story of Aliens landing on earth and learning all about Christmas. The children worked very hard over many weeks rehearsing the lines and songs with actions. They were delighted to perform for all the families. All the students did a wonderful job of performing, signing, acting and doing the actions on the day. They should all be very proud of themselves!

Drumming Workshop
Three days of drumming workshops were held in Oatlands from January 30 th to February 1 st . The interactive drumming workshops were facilitated by Peter Crann of WeDrum Ireland. All classes got to take part in the workshop, learn about drumming and play different percussion instruments. Each class workshop typically started with an energetic warm up routine involving Body-Percussion and Hip Hop beats. The workshop included a demonstration and brief journey around the world of drums, from Africa to Ireland. Every student also got to play a piece of highenergy Samba music on a percussion instrument. Peter’s infectious enthusiasm for music and his teaching of drumming techniques from all around the world were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The workshops were organised by Mr Egan.
