Oatlands Montessori opened its doors to children in September 2007.
The aim then, as it is now, is to offer high quality, affordable pre-school education to the families in the Mount Merrion and Stillorgan communities.
The Montessori provides a prepared environment where the child is encouraged to grow holistically and explore the world around them.
Oatlands Montessori serves children aged 2 years and 8 months to 5 years.
The Montessori operates 5 days a week from 9:00 - 12:30 during the school term.
It participates in the ECCE scheme, offering 3 hours of free preschool daily, with an optional extra 30 minutes for a small fee.
We have two classrooms staffed by 2 qualified practitioners each, accommodating 20 and 16 children respectively.
Children can opt to wear the Oatlands Primary School tracksuit.
Our dedicated staff focus on each child’s wellbeing, happiness, and education, building their confidence for the next step in their learning journey.
Our Montessori-based curriculum allows children to progress at their own pace, using carefully selected materials to inspire natural learning.
Daily activities emphasise creativity, fun, concentration, and outdoor play, incorporating the Irish educational frameworks of Síolta and Aistear.
