Halloween Walk

As tradition would have it, every pupil and teacher in Oatlands dressed up and took part in our annual Halloween Walk On Friday, the 24th of October.  We walked from the school to the shopping centre and paraded around the centre for everyone to see.  This year we decided to raise funds for a very worthy cause - Habitat for Humanity for Zambia.  We raised approximately €461.  Thank you to everyone who made a donation.  Thanks also to our 5th and 6th classes who assisted with the Junior and Senior Infants on the day.  As you can see, we all had a great day.

Cycling Safety Workshops

Cycling Safety Workshops have been organised by An Taisce in conjunction with the Green Schools Programme and are currently taking place every Friday here in Oatlands.  It is run by the Dublin School of Cycling Safety, it is held for one hour a week over 6 weeks and is conducted on the grounds of the school.  Children from 5th and 6th class are taking part.

Oatlands Primary launches new school website

Welcome to our brand new school website!

Our completely revamped site is a big step forward, streamlining the way we can get information to parents and post the most recent school events, news and policies.

We are really excited to see how our new website will help us to better serve the needs of our students.

One of the most impressive things is that the website is built on the same internet platform used by the Louvre museum, the White House, Oxfam International, Harvard University and MTV UK.
